Art Nouveau Plateel ships worldwide
As Dutch plateel (art pottery) is collected all over the world, we offer worldwide shipping. Items are packed with great care, and fortunately nothing has ever gone wrong in recent years.
We apply different shipping rates depending on the buyer’s location. These are:
- 15 euros within the Netherlands
- 30 euros within Western Europe
- 60 euros for the rest of Europe
- 90 euros for locations outside Europe
To protect the environment, we recycle packaging materials as much as possible.
Are items insured against damage during shipping?
Yes, all shipments are insured against damage in transit. Should a vase arrive damaged, the buyer/recipient must take clear photos of the packaged item’s condition. Specifically, photos of the damaged box and the damage to the item itself. This is required to file an insurance claim. The buyer can then return the item for a refund.
Can items be returned?
Yes, we accept returns. Sometimes an item may not live up to expectations in person. In principle, you have two weeks time to change your mind after a sale. Return shipping costs are always for by the buyer. We expect items to be returned packed with the same level of care and fully insured. Returns are only accepted if the items are in the exact same condition as when they were shipped. The detailed product photos on this website serve as the reference point. The only exception to this rule is if an item has been damaged during transport (see above).
The buyer receives a refund for the item’s purchase price, but not the shipping costs. This amount is refunded within one week. If, after some time, buyers wish to part with a vase purchased from us, than we are happy to help. We can buy items back or sell these items on their behalf on consignment.
