This vase was made by the De Distel pottery factory from Amsterdam on May 5th, 1899. The vase is 14 cm or 5.5 inches high and 16 cm or 6.3 inches wide. The vase is painted with light blue flowers and turquoise leaves on a dark green and beige background. The dark blue neck gives a nice accent. The vase is well signed. You see the factory name: Distel, a reference to the model and decor number: 14/5 and the date of production: May 5, 1899. The vase is also well signed by Bernardus Nieman (BN). At the bottom also the remains of a sticker from a previous owner or dealer. The vase is in beautiful condition.
