Description

This flower pot, or cachepot, has a beautiful NP decor with blue flowers. The pot was made by the Dutch pottery factory Zuid-Holland from Gouda in the period between 1908 and 1912. It is model 124, 9.3 cm or 3.6 inches high and 10.5 cm or 4.1 inches wide. Each side of the flower pot has a different decor and that makes this object very nice to look at. The pot is painted by an unknown artist in a beautiful NP decor with blue flowers, green leaves and graceful decorations. Very characteristic of this decor are the colour areas of green lines and yellow stars. This decor is also called ‘kantjes’. The pot is in good condition, but the neck has a small hairline crack, which is visible from both the in- and outside.
