Rozenburg vase, model 322 with a decor of wild orchids from 1895

Description

This vase is model 322 and measures 15.4 cm or 9 inches high and 9 cm or 3.5 inches wide. It has a wide belly and a wide neck. It was made by the Rozenburg factory from The Hague in the Netherlands. Year of production is 1895. The object is painted with wild orchids in a beautiful color scheme of yellow against a dark green background. In the background you can see blades of grass and small flying insects. The vase is well signed with the words: Rozenburg Den Haag, the logo of the stork. The year mark for 1895: M and the work code number: 538. The object is not completely intact and has undergone some restorations on both the foot and the neck. This is not done very professionally and is therefore visible. A great piece for the novice collector!
