Gouda pottery bowl, model 94 with P decor of yellow flowers, 2 inch high

Small and cute. This bowl, made by the Dutch pottery factory Zuid-Holland from Gouda, is 5 cm or 2 inches high and 8 cm or 3 inches wide. It is painted with a P decor of yellow blossom. It is very similar to decor 243 with blackberries and yellow blossom, but it is less refined, because of its size. The coloured surfaces with wave pattern in green shades are beautiful. This decor is also called ‘Kantjes’ (lace). The bowl was made in the period 1901-1907. It is not known who painted it (signature: AS). The bowl is model 94 from the Gouda pottery factory. The object is in good condition, except for a thin hairline on the side.
