This Gouda Pottery ewer is 8,2 inch high, painted with sunflowers and is made in 1898-1902 by the Dutch Pottery Factory Zuid-Holland from Gouda.

Description

This ewer of Gouda Pottery is painted with yellow sunflowers and green leaves on a deep blue background. The ceramic ewer was made by Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland from Gouda in the Netherlands between 1898 and 1902. It is model 31. The object is clearly signed with the letters D.V, which refer to the painter Dirk Verhaar, who worked at the factory in Gouda between 1898 and 1902 . This beautiful Art Nouveau style ceramic ewer is in excellent condition, there is no visible damage to the object and no traces of restoration can be found. The glaze does have little air bubbles here and there. The ewer is 21 cm or 8.2 inches high and 13 cm or 5.1 inches wide.
