This Large Gouda Pottery Vase is 12,6 inch High and has two ears near the top of the neck. It is decorated with Irises and painted By Fransiscus Fonville around the year 1900.

This large Gouda Pottery vase is 32 cm or 12.6 inches high and 20 cm or 7.8 inches wide. It is model 102 of the Dutch Pottery Factory Zuid-Holland from Gouda, a model with two high ears on either side of the neck. The vase has a beautiful painting of dark purple irises against a background of dark turquoise and yellow. Characteristic are the typical Art Nouveau patterns in different shades of green. The vase was made around the year 1900 and painted by Fransiscus Fonville. If you look at the markings on the bottom, you can see the words: Made in Holland, the factory logo and the monogram of Fonville: the letter F. The model number is also engraved in the bottom: 102. This is a beautiful example of early Gouda pottery that is in good condition. The neck and both ears have no visible damage. However, some small chips on the foot have been very professionally restored.
