This wide vase is 16 cm high and 20 cm wide (6.3 inches high and 7.8 inches wide). The vase was made in 1895 by the Dutch Rozenburg pottery factory in The Hague and painted by Samuel Schellink. The vase has an imaginative floral decor in a beautiful colour combination with orange, brown and green. A cobalt blue base has been chosen at the bottom of the vase. This is model 309, a vase with a very wide belly and a short wide neck. The vase is well signed with the logo of the Hague Rozenburg factory. You also see the year mark for 1895: M and the work order number: #423. We found the name of the painter in the Rozenburg archives: Samuel Schellink. The vase is in excellent condition.
