Gouda pottery plate, 14 cm with ‘kantjes’ decor of cornflower 1909-1912

Description

This plate is 14 cm or 5.5 inch in diameter. It was made by the Zuid-Holland pottery factory from Gouda in the period 1909-1912. The antique plate has a beautiful decor of cornflowers, made up entirely of fine lines. This decor is also called ‘kantjes’. The object was painted by Annigje van Dam. She worked at the Gouda pottery factory between 1909 and 1912. The plate is completely intact.
