Description

This wall charger was made in February 1904 by the the Dutch pottery factory Rozenburg from Den Haag (The Hague). It measures 43 cm or 16.9 inch in width and features a floral design, most likely with tulips. There is a striking contrast between the darker side, rendered in deep brown and dark blue, and the lighter, beige-toned side. A beautiful backdrop for the vibrant red, yellow, and orange flowers. The piece is clearly marked with the factory logo, the 1904 date mark (depicted as a flag), the production number (#125), and the signature of Willem Hartgring (H). The object is in pristine condition.
