Description

This vase with two little handles was made by the Dutch Pottery Factory Zuid-Holland from Gouda. This Gouda Vase is 22.5 cm or 8,8 inch high and 15 cm 0r 5,9 inch wide. The vase is painted in a floral decor of grasses and flower buds in a palette of brown, brick red, yellow and green, with bright pink and purple details. The vase was painted by R. van Ham  and well signed with the factory logo and the monogram RH. Because the model 306 does not appear in the factory catalog from 1909, the date of manufacture of this vase is between 1903 and 1907. The vase is in good condition and has no visible damage to the arms and neck. You can see that in a spot at the base, part of the glaze has a slightly more shine to the surface. This probably is due to a professional restoration of a chip on the foot.

The same model is available in green tones in the store.
