Description
This vase was made by the Dutch Rozenburg pottery company from Den Haag (The Hague) in July 1902. This is model 146P, a vase with a round base and body, which tapers to a square neck. The object is 16 cm or 6.3 inch high and 7 cm or 2.7 inch wide and painted with a beautiful tulip motif. The painter is Samuel Schellink. The vase is well signed. The factory logo is stamped on the bottom of the vase. You can see the crown, the stork, and the words: Rozenburg The Hague. The sun is the year mark for 1902. You can also see the work order number: #867 and the signature of Samuel Schellink. The vase is in good condition. One of the points of the neck has been professionally restored. This is very well and carefully done, and it’s completely invisible to the naked eye.
