Description

This vase was made by the Dutch pottery factory Zuid-Holland from Gouda. The vase is 30 cm or 11.8 inch high and 17 cm or 6.7 inch wide. This is model 212, a design with a wide belly and a small curve in the neck. The vase is painted with a typical early Gouda decor with purple irises. The vase is signed, you can see the factory logo of Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland, but the other markings are barely legible. As is the signature of the painter, so it is not known who decorated this vase. The vase is in a beautiful condition, without damage or restorations. Elsewhere in the store is the same vase, with a different decor (red irises).
