Large wall charger, made by Rozenburg Plateelfabriek in The Hague, 43 cm in diameter, with a design of lilies, painted by Samuel Schellink in 1989.

Description

This wall charger was made by the Dutch pottery factory Rozenburg from Den Haag (The Hague) in 1898. The wall plate has a diameter of 43 cm or 16.9 inch. Samuel Schellink painted the plate with a design of lilies. You see orange flowers against a green and brown background. The brown colour areas are composed entirely of small circles. The plate was made in 1898, which is clearly visible from the year mark on the back, in the shape of a crown. You can also see the factory name: Rozenburg Den Haag, the work order number: 846, and Schellink’s signature: SS. The plate is in perfect condition.
