Description

This charger was made in 1891 by the Dutch pottery company Rozenburg from The Hague. The object is 21 cm or 8.2 inch in diameter and has a wavy rim. The charger has a colourful, abstract and symmetrical decor painted by J.H. Suurbach after a design by Theo Colenbrander. The object is signed with the words: Rozenburg Den Haag. The year letter G for 1891 and Suurbach’s signature. You can also see the name of the decor: Pensde. The work order number is engraved: 284. Please note: this is not a wall charger. The object lacks the little holes in the base ring where a hook can be attached. The charger is in perfect condition.
