Description

This vase was made by Rozenburg Pottery in The Hague in 1896. It is beautifully painted with yellow lilies against a background that alternates between very dark green, brick red, and gray. The vase is 17.5 cm (6.9 inches) high and 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide. The object is clearly signed with the words Rozenburg, and the year mark NKx for the period between January and August 1896. Unfortunately, the work order number is illegible, making it difficult to say anything about the model number or the painters. The vase has undergone a restoration on the inside of the neck, presumably there was a little chip.
