Description

This vase was made by the Rozenburg pottery factory from The Hague in 1905. The vase has a short foot, a round belly and two large ears. It is model 287, painted with a beautiful decor of purple flowers on a dark brown background. The object is 16.3 cm or 6.4 inches high and 17 cm or 6.7 inches wide. The vase was painted by J.W. van Rossum, as can be seen from the signature on the bottom. There you can also see the mark for the year 1905 and the work order number #29. The vase is in good condition, but the neck has some tiny little flakes or grazes in the glaze. These are barely visible.
