This flowerpot is made by the Dutch Pottery Factory Zuid-Holland from Gouda. The flower pot is painted by master painter J.H. Hartgring and also well signed. The flower pot has a beautiful decor of lilies in a striking colour scheme of beige, yellow and greyisch pink. A beautiful specimen, especially because of its size. The flowerpot is 24 cm or 9,4 inch high and 27 cm or 10,6 inch wide. The object is not dated, but it is probably a very early example, made between 1899 and 1904. The flowerpot has been professionally restored at the rim. This is hardly visible to the naked eye, but on the inside of the rim you can notice a difference in structure (see photos). There is also a hairline crack on the bottom and a flea bite in the glaze.
